BIOGRAPHY:

A brief biography, with vital record details on the family, was printed in the book "Genealogical Record of the Hodges Family of New England," Third Edition, by Almon D. Hodges, Jr., published by Frank H. Hodges, Boston, 1896. The biography reads:

"Samuel Seaver was a contractor and builder and always resided in the place of his birth. He and his wife celebrated their golden wedding in 1882 and his widow passed her last days in the house which, built on the same site, replaced the one which she had entered as a bride."

DEATH: 3 Jul 1884 Taunton MA (MA VR 355.159]. Samuel was a carpenter, died of valvular disease of the heart at age 76-0-23.
