[Note, Wyman says Sarah m. (2) M. Masterman, m. (3) Thomas Goodwin. This would imply Samuel died by 27 Feb 1756, the date of the intentions of Marmaduke Masterman to Sarah Reed were filed in Boston (intentions don't seem to be filed in Charlestown, married in Boston 23 Mar 1756. M. Masterman d. 1759. Sarah Masterman m. Charlestown 26 Jun 1766 Thomas Goodwin.) But both the will of Samuel's father in 1757, and that of his mother dated 1769, mention son Samuel, suggesting it might have been a different Sarah Reed that participated in the last two marriages? Or even that it was a different Samuel Reed who married Sarah Capen?]
