Samuel Allison married Susanna Howard, and died in Rowan County, North Carolina in 1759, leaving small sons, Robert and Samuel Allison Jr.

Robert Allison married the widowed Jane Moore Lambkin, very probably in Tryon County, North Carolina circa 1774/5.

Robert and Jane Moore Allison lived in Greene County, Tennessee, among others, and were in Roane County by 1805. They had sons, Uriah Sherrill Allison, who left no make descendents. Their other son, Robert Moore Allison had sons

The man you're looking for could possibly be a descendent, perhaps a great grandson, of Robert Moore Allison, born 1800, died 1879 in Roane County.

Always, Lynn
