Which Ruth Loomis?

"... this Ruth Loomis, daughter of Thomas and Hannah (Porter) Loomis, was the same age as Ebenezer Dart. Her brother Thomas Loomis, eleven years older than herself, settled early in Bolton, and she could have met Ebenezer Dart while visiting in Bolton at her brother's home. Furthermore, after the brother lost his wife, three years after Ruth Loomis had married Ebenezer Dart, Thomas Loomis married Mary Dart. Ebenezer's next older sister was Mary Dart, born at New London, 13 Nov. 1695. She was thus seven years younger than Thomas Loomis and suitable in age for his second wife. Mary wife of Thomas Loomis died 6 Sept. 1761 aged 65 which agrees with the birth date of this Mary Dart. And what is more likely than that Thomas Loomis, left a widower, married the sister of his own sister Ruth's husband? For these reasons the writer believes that the Loomis Genealogy errs in its account of this Ruth Loomis, and that it was she who married Ebenezer Dart. The dates, locality, and family connections point to it. Also the first three children of Ebenezer and Ruth were named Rebecca ( a compliment to Ebenezer's deceased first wife), Ruth (for Ruth herself) and Hannah (which would be for Ruth Loomis's mother)"
