Co, Baltimore: 1983, p. 117. Will dated 2 JAN 1758, proved 3 JUL 1758, names wife Hannah, son William, all children including the one my wife is now big with; ex: wife, bro. Richard Mitchell, and Moore Fontleroy; witnesses John Belfield, Henry Franks, William Robins, Peter Evans. Note: “Robert Mitchell was the son of Robert (1684-1748) and Susannah Mitchell of Lancaster Co. He married Hannah Ball, dau. of Col. William Ball, on 7 SEP 1746, MRC, p. 134.” Mitchell Family loose file at William Ball Washington Museum and Library includes a hand written chart stating that Robert Mitchell & Hannah Ball Mitchell had five children: 1. William, named in will of 1758 will but no further record 2. Susannah, m. ----- Glasscock 3. Robert, m. Pricilla Carter. “Heir to his uncle Richard Mitchell’s land in Northumberland and Richmond County.” 4. Richard, m. Peggy Gunyan. Heir to his uncle Richard Mitchell’s land in Lancaster Co. 5.
