Will of Robert Luckey, Sr.
In the name of God, Amen, the thirtieth Day of April in ye Year of our Lord One thousand seven hunderd and fifty four I Robert Luckey of ye township of Marticks in ye County of Lancaster and provence of Pennsylvania being sick and weak of body of perfect Mind and memory thanks be given to God therefore calling to Mind ye mortality of my Body and Knowing that it is appointed for all Men once to dye I do therefore give and Recommend the same to ye Earth to be buired in a Christen like and decent manner at ye Discretion of my Executors and as for such worldly Estate wherewith it has placed the Lord to blise me with in this Life I give and Dispose of ye same in the folowing manner and forme after first paying all my just Debts and funerel Charges out of my movable Estate.
IMPRIMES, I leave and bequath unto my son Hugh Luckey ye Sume of three Shillings to be paid by my Executors out of my movable Estate seven Years after my Deasese.
ITEM, I Give and Bequeath unto my Sons John, Andrew, and James Luckey ye Sume of five Shillings to each of them to be paid by my Executers out of my movable Estate two Years after my Decase.
ITEM, I give and bequath unto my Daughters Sarah and Jane Luckey ye Sume of three Shillings to each of them to be paid by my Execoutors out of my movable Estate seven Years after my Decase.
ITEM, I leave and bequath unto my Daughtir Ann the Wife of Samuel Hillis, Isable ye Wife of William Sleven, Mary ye Wife of William Orr and Agnes ye Wife of Robert Pendry ye Sume of five Shillings to each of them to be paid by my Executors out of my moveable Estate Tow [Two] Years after my Decase.
ITEM, I GIve and bequath unto my Son James my Vice if demanded.
ITEM, I leave unto my son Samul the one halfe of the Plantations I am now Possest of as it is made over to him in writing under my Hand forever.
ITEM, I Leave and bequath the other halfe of my Plantations to my Dear Wife and Son Robert Luckey to there proper use untill the said Robert Luckey shall arive at ye Age of Twinty one Years of Age then ye said halfe of ye Plantation is to be his ye sd. Son Robert Luckeys and his Heirs and Assigns forever and after said Son Robert is possessed of ye primisses said Sons Samuel Luckey and Robert Luckey shall pay to my Dear Wife a Reasonable mantaince at ye Discretion of my Executors.
ITEM, I Give unto my sd. Son Robert Luckey my Little bay Gelding to hold ye same to him his Heirs and Assigns forever.
ITEM, I Give unto my Dearly beloved Wife Isable all ye Remender of my Goods and Chattels after paying Debts and Legaces to be Enjoyed by her forever.
ITEM, and if sd. Son Robert Shal dye before he doth arive at ye Age of twintey one Years of Age his part shal be sold to my Son Samuel Luckey at a reasonable price and devided among all my Children Equaly only my Wifes Mantanance shal be as mentioned above.
ITEM, And I do hereby Constitute make and appointe my trusty frends John Grahams and John McDowel to be ye Sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament.
