Obituary: Robert Jackson (Bath Independent and Enterprise, 25 Jul 1903, p. 3)

Robert Jackson died at his home on Pine street, Friday night. The deceased was 82 years and six months old. Mr. Jackson was a native of Wisoasset, but has been a resident of this city for the past 50 years. He was a caulker by trade and worked in the shipyards of Bath, but for many years has been oonnected with the street department, retiring last summer.

Mr. Jackson leaves a widow, one daughter Mrs. Annie Grover, and son G. Fred Jackson of Lawrence, Mass. He was an active member of the M. E. church. The funeral services were held at his late residence Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. D. B. Holt officiated. The floral offerings were many and beautiful. The bearers were Alonzo Morse, E. S. Crosby, Samuel Rogers and S. H. Conley. Interment at Oak Grove.

Only heirs at law and next of kin are: Rhoda A Grover, Bath, Maine, Daughter and George F Jackson, Bath, Maine, Son. Hearing set for first Tuesday of September.
