The fiftieth anniversary of the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jackson was pleasantly celebrated Tuesday evening at their home on Pine Street.
Among tbe guests present were a party of members of Wesley church, who presented the venerable couple with a purse of gold.
Mr. and Mrs. Jackson have been members of the Wesley M. E. church the past thirty years and enjoy good health.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jackson observed their fifty-second wedding anniversary at their home on Pine street Thursday. Mr. Jackson was 81 yesterday and Mrs. Jackson is 73.

1870 Census

Robert Jackson, 47, caulker, with real estate valued at $900 and personal estate at $100, lives in Bath, Sagadahoc, Maine in Ward 1. Other household members are Drusilla Jackson, 41; Rhoda Jackson, 18; Fred Jackson, 8; and Sobrina Marr, 4. Rhoda (also known as Annie) and Fred are Robert and Drusilla's children.

1880 Census

Robert Jackson, 57 and Drusilla Jackson, 50, live on Pine Street in Bath, Sagadahoc, Maine. Robert Jackson is a caulker. Their son, George F Jackson, 17, lives in their household and is attending school. In the same house, but a separate household, is Ezra P Grover, 30, (a ship carpenter) and Annie Grover, 28, along with their daughter Emma B, age 7 months (born November). Annie is Robert and Drusilla's daughter. Also in the household is Sobrina Marr, age 77, noted as boarder. She must be related to Drusilla (Marr) Jackson. There is a third household in the house on Pine Street: Silas C Deering (probably, name is very faded), age 54, a ship carpenter; Elizabeth M Deering, age 59; Abial M Deering, age 30, a joiner; Sylvester B Deering, age 23, a clerk in store.

1900 Census

Robert Jackson, 78 (born Jan 1822), and Drusilla Jackson, 70 (born Aug 1829), live at 45 Pine Street, Bath, Sagadahoc, Maine. They have been married 50 years, and had four children; 2 are living. Robert Jackson is a laborer, and owns the home free and clear. Their two children live at home. Daughter Annie G Grover, born Jun 1853, age 47, has been married for 25 years, has had 2 children, and one is living. Annie's daughter, Emma B Grover, age 20 (born Nov 1879) also lives at 45 Pine Street. Robert and Drusilla's son, George F Jackson, 38 (born Sept 1861), is widowed. He was married for five years. He is employed as a canvasser.
