[edit] Information on Robert Glascow[Brøderbund WFT Vol. 2, Ed. 1, Tree #6075, Date of Import: May 3, 2006] Of Scotch ancestry, came from North Ireland with his brothers Joseph and Arthur in 1765, settled in Nottingham County, Virginia. Moved to Rockbridge County, Virginia in 1769. Soldier in American Revolution. Moved to Adams County, Ohio in 1806.

His father Robert Barclay Glasgow was born in Rockbridge county, Virginia, his mother Rosannah Finley was born in 1789 in Virginia. His parents also moved to Illinois to Peoria county and are buried in the Smithfield cemetery there.Robert Finley Glasgow's grandfather Robert Glasgow was born in 1749 in Derry, Londonderry, Ireland. This family was one that removed first to Ireland from Scotland and then to the US. His grandson Robert McCutchan refers to the death of Grandfather Glasgow in July of 1839 in Adams county, Ohio References
