Robert Owen Bluck, 82, of Preston died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, at Chosen Valley Care Center in Chatfield.

Robert was born April 17, 1929, near Monona, Iowa, the son of Robert and Lottie (Klima) Bluck. He graduated from Monona High School. After graduation he worked as a semi-truck driver. On Aug. 26, 1989, he married Grace Bollhoefer Buckles at the Preston United Methodist Church. After their marriage Bob worked for Foremost Farms Dairy in Preston as a field man until his retirement. After retirement he and Grace had a business mowing lawns and cemeteries. He was a member of St. Columban Catholic Church. Bob was active with collecting toys of all varieties and enjoyed working with some organizations.

Bob is survived by his wife, Grace of Preston, one stepdaughter Genevieve (Kelvin) Langmaid of Newton, Iowa, and also step children from his first marriage. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife and two step sons, Andrew and Kenneth Buckles.

Memorial services were held Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at St. Columban Catholic Church in Preston with the Rev. Patrick Arens officiating. Burial was in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in Monona, Iowa.
