Charlotte Rose Bluck

Charlotte (Lottie) Rose Bluck, daughter of Frank and Rose Lestina Bluck, was born July 8, 1900, in Giard Township in Clayton County, Iowa. She died Wednesday, October 23, 1991, at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon, IA.

She graduated from high school and received one year of college education. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and a member of St. Patrick's Rosary Society.

On June 26, 1928, she was married to Robert Bluck. She was employed as a bank teller at a local bank before her marriage. She also taught school before and after she was married.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Robert, who died December 27, 1984; and two step-children. Survivors include one son, Robert O. Bluck and his wife Grace of Preston, MN; two sisters, Evelyn Klima, Monona, IA, and Marie Klima of Wauwatosa, WI; eight step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, October 26, 1991, at 11:00 am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Monona, IA. Father John Moran officiated. Organist was Mrs. Katherine Fritz. Pallbearers were Ron Schlueter, Dennis Schlueter, Harlan Schlueter, Donnie Voss, Jack Hangartner and Kenneth Ameden. Burial was in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Monona. Schultz's Funeral Home of Monona was in charge of services.
