MARRIAGE: By 1632 Rhoda _____, who was born about 1610 ("Rhoda wife of John Gore" deposed on 19 May 1655 "aged forty-five years or thereabouts" [SLR 2:166]). She married (2) about 1659 John Remington (on 14 July 1662, "Rhoda Gore executrix aforesaid" stated that she had "some years since married with Lt. John Remington of Rowley, and that an event following the marriage had taken place "two years since [i.e., two years ago]" [NLR 2:146-47]). She married (3) after 27 April 1675 Edward Porter [SLR 10:227-28; NEHGR 148:52]. She married (4) after 12 February 1677/8 and before 15 May 1679 Joshua Tidd [SCC 881, 894, 1014, 1139].
