    Priscilla Heale (Hale) married Marquis Calmes on 18 January 1782, and they had nine children. She died 18 November 1821, and later in 1834, she was joined by her husband in this stone mausoleum at their home.

    This stone mausoleum was built for Priscilla in the family cemetery of "Caneland" plantation by Gen. Marquis Calmes, and it was restored in July 1990.
