Copy of death certificate (owned by Louis Lehmann) documents Phillipa's death as 5 Oct 1841 at Crowan, cause - Childbirth. (Although the name "William Dower" appears under space for "signature of informant", the name seems to be in the same handwriting as the rest of the writing on the certificate, suggesting that the registrar wrote the name instead of William)

The BMD birth Index lists only one Dower in Helston District for quarters July-Aug-Sept and Oct-Nov-Dec in 1841. This is a Mary Dower
