↑ Source:Hubbard, Robert Merrill. Genealogy of the Hubbard and Associated Families of Northern Indiana, Chapter B, p. 3, says that Phebe is the daughter of Samuel and Mary Brigham, who was b. Sudbury, 11 Jun 1752. This birth is recorded in the Sudbury VRs, but the age at death seems a little too far off. The author notes that none of his referenced sources actually say that she was the one that married Peter Hubbard, but was convinced it was her based on her children Joel and Jonas who appear to be named after her brothers. Based on her husband's birth being 1754, it would appear that her age at death was quite inflated, so this seems probable.
