    13 Nov 1821 "Samuel Brigham of Newton in the county aforesaid, Gentlemen" petitions "that John Brigham; blacksmith, who last dwelt in Sudbury in said county, within three months back had died intestate, possessed of goods & estate, remaining unadministered leaving a widow & several children that it is necessary administration should be granted on said estate, that his widow has declined the trust; that your petitioner is the oldest son of said deceased & by law entitled to said trust." Letters issued.
    29 Nov 1821: "Estate whereof John Brigham late of Sudbury died seized and possessed". Dower set off to "Cathrine Brigham the Widow of said deceased".
