Tennessee Expedition

Peter Looney was one of the group of participants in Colonel John Donelson's expedition into Tennessee in 1780, as described in "Life and times of Edward Swanson: one of the original pioneers who with General James Robertson founded Nashville, Tennessee, 1779; first recorded settler of Williamson county" on pg. 30. Peter's sister Mary Looney became Edward Swanson's wife, in abt. 1781 [her second husband].
