Long Prairie Leader - Oct. 12, 1972 - page 4A, columns 5, 6 & 7 Rites held for Mrs. Miller Funeral services were held Monday for Mrs. Paulina Laura Miller, 75, of Long Prairie, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Long Prairie with the Rev. Philip Eaves officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were her grandsons and nephews. Funeral arrangements were made by the Stephan-Stein Funeral Home of Long Prairie. Mrs. Miller died last Thursday at St. John's Hospital in Browerville after suffering from cancer since June of 1971. She was born Dec. 11, 1896, in Nashua to John and Anna (Anderson) Wilke. After her marriage to Julius Miller in Nashua Oct.20, 1915, they moved to Elmore. From 1920 to 1926 they lived in Leslie Township in Todd County and then moved to Reynolds Township where they resided until moving to Long Prairie in 1953. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. Preceding her in death was her husband who died March 8, 1969. Survivors include two sons, Melvin and Leonard of Long Prairie; two daughters, Mrs. Ambrose (Evelyn) Bruder of Long Prarie and Mrs. Carl (Marilyn) Jensen of Minneapolis; one sister, Mrs. Emma Weise of Tintah; 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
