    "...born in LC 12 June 1721, died there 20 May 1761 ae 40.

    "He married in LC 6 Jan 1746 Deborah Dennis of Tiverton, daughter of Robert and Susannah (Briggs) Dennis, born in Tiverton 21 March 1722, died in LC 23 Sept. 1785. She married second John Earle, published 14 Feb. 1773.

    "They are buried in the Brownell cemetery at Westport Harbour on what was the George Brownell place and later the Barker Peckham place at the four corners, the beach being south of the four corners."

    Note "children are not recorded in LC (as this area became part of MA), but taken from the private framed records which were sold to Mrs. John A Seabury at the Mark Brownell auction."
