    "born 19 March 1719 in that part of LC now known as Westport Harbour, died ae 58 11 June 1776 in LC from wounds received at Bunker Hill. He is buried in Brownell cemetery No. 7 Westport Harbour.

    He married in LC 14 Jan 1742 Elizabeth Richmond, daughter of William and Anna (Gray) Richmond, born in LC 26 Feb 1725, died there 10 Jun 1806 ae 81. She is buried in the cemetery at Westport Harbour on the Brownell place. They lived in Westport Harbour, then a part of LC on a place later owned by Barker Peckham. This place is at the four corners near the beach."
