"born in LC 21 Jun 1711, died in Dartmouth 30 Jun 1800. He married first in LC 21 Oct 1731 Sarah Bailey, daughter of William and Dorothy (Graves) Bailey, born in LC 30 June 17010, died there 22 Sept 1756. Residence: LC, Westport Harbour, and Dartmouth. He married second in Dartmouth 8 April 1787 Priscilla Loring of Pembroke. She died, according to the Leonard papers, in Dec 1798. George Brownell was a pensioner of the Revolutionary war. He is mentioned in the pension list of John Bailey and Gideon Thompkins, and he appeared in the rank of Private on the muster roll of Capt. Cornelius Briggs, Company of Col. Nathan Miller. He entered the service 1 Aug 1778 and was engaged for a term of 20 days."

Is it this George who is Rev. War pensioner, or has Wilbour conflated this George with one born later? Probably not many 67 year old soldiers?
