    123 John Eddy (Samuel, Samuel, John, William), b. May 6, 1696, at Watertown; bapt. Sept. 12, 1697, at Cambridge (Watertown and Cambridge Records); d. 1762, at Oxford. His will, dated Jan. 21, 1762, was probated Apr. 20, 1762, at Oxford, Worcester Co. He m. Jan. 20, 1725, at Marlboro, Mass., Marcy (also called Mary) Bellows (V.R.). She was b. Mar. 28, 1705 and died Apr. 23, 1747, at Oxford (V.R.). She was the dau. of John and Hannah (Newton) Bellows (Newton Gen., p. 40). He m. for his second wife Patience Towne, widow of Edmund Towne of Oxford. She was the dau. of Samuel and Margaret (Stone) Gould, and was b. Aug. 25, 1709; m. June 18, 1747; d. in 1767. Her will was proved on Dec. 17, 1767 (Family of Zacheus Gould of Topsfield and Worcester Probate).
