Personal History

Nellie Boulton, (first) daughter of George Boulton[2] of 139 Clarence Street, Ecclesall Bierlow, Yorkshire, bricklayer, by Sallie Redford,[1] was born on 12 February 1902 at home; the birth was registered in the district of Ecclesall Bierlow by her father on 24 February.[1]

Nellie died on 27 March 1906 at the City Hospital, Lincoln, of diphtheria and syncope after 10 days; the death was registered on 29 March by her father George Boulton of 87 Countess Road, South Sheffield, journeyman bricklayer, who was “in attendance”.[2] She was buried on 29 March 1906[4] at Newport Cemetery, Lincoln.[3][4]
