    Olmstead, Nehemiah, s. of James. Sergt., Fairfield Trainband, May 1657. Bapt. at Fairsted, co. Essex, Eng., 10 Nov. 1618, d. at Fairfield in 1657; m. Elizabeth Burr, dau. of Jehu. She m. (2) Obadiah Gilbert, and (3) Capt. Nathaniel Seeley. Inv, 6 Oct. 1657. Widow and minor dau. On 27 Jan. 1671 [1671/2], land was recorded which Nehemiah Olmstead "did purchase of his bro.-in-law Jehu Burr." On 15 Mar. 1675 [1675/6], Nehemiah having died and left a widow and one child, Sarah, and she is now of age and married to Robert Seeley, he demanded her portion, and an agreement was made with Elizabeth Seeley, the Adm'x.
