Neville C. Hubbard, Jr. 1923 - 1927
An epidemic of measles has been raging in the Lone Tree community for some time with no fatal results until early last Saturday morning, when the small son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed C. Hubbard breathed his last. His sudden death was unexpected, although he suffered greatly.
Neville C. Hubbard, Jr., was born May 11, 1923, on a farm near Lone Tree and died March 26, 1927, being at the time of his death three years, ten months and sixteen days old. N. C. will be remembered by all who knew him for his sunny disposition and sweet, friendly manner. He leaves to mourn their great loss, his parents, one brother and two sisters.
A large group of relatives and friends were present to show thier respect and extend their sympathy at his funeral, and after a brief service in the home at Lone Tree the body was laid to rest in Pleasant Ridge cemetery.
