Obituary
DOORNBOS -- Neal Doornbos, aged 69, of 5534 Alpine Rd. NW, Comstock Park passed away Wednesday evening at Butterworth Hospital. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ray (Marian) Veeneman of Grand Rapids; five grandchildren; a brother, Jay Simmons of Holland, and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Irene Doornbos of Grand Rapids. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Hollebeek Funeral Home, 1100 W. Leonard St., the Rev. Gordon Girod officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Mr. Doornbos reposes at the funeral home, where relatives and friends may meet the family from to 9 p.m. on Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday.
