“PJ: Sept., 1965: Dewittville: Mrs. Nancy May Galloway, 92, Main Road, died at 8:30 p.m. Sunday (Sept. 26, 1965) at her home, after a short illness. She was born Sept. 18, 1873, in the Town of Chautauqua, the daughter of James Paul and Adelaide Barber Crandall. On May 10, 1892 she was married to Hugh Grant Galloway in Brocton, who died Feb. 1, 1956. Mr. and Mrs. Galloway had celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary in May 1955. Survivors are three sons, Vincent Galloway of Dewittville, Mearl Galloway of Holly Hill, Fla., and Harold B. Galloway of Lake George; 11 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Her oldest son, LaVerne Galloway, died in 1961. A sister and two brothers preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Freay Funeral Home, Mayville. The Rev. C. C. Akam, will officiate. Burial will be in Dewitttville Cemetery.
