Facts and Events
Nicholas Bush was one of the Early Settlers of Augusta County, Virginia
__________________________
Advisory
There are several Ancestry Member Trees claiming that Nicholas Bush of Augusta County, Virginia was born in England in 1762 and married in 1784, but this appears to be in error. This Nicholas Bush is clearly of German Ancestry, and as he had one of his daughters, Catherine, born in Augusta County no later than 1773, Nicholas had to have been born likely no later than 1753. Additional research is necessary.

There are MANY obviously flawed Ancestry Member trees of this family showing birthdates of children when Nicholas was still a child. Additional research is needed using primary source records.
