BIOGRAPHY: Myron was living in Buffalo, New York when it was sacked and burned by the British. He moved with his parents to Wayne County, Ohio in 1815. In 1845 he moved to Noble County, Indiana where he bought a farm near Avilla. He died at the home of his son, Harrison, in Elkhart, Indiana.

DEATH: Died at son's home in Elkhart, Indiana. Obituary in Noble County, Indiana: Eddy Myron R, 83, an old citizen of Noble County, who immigrated to this county in 1845, where he lived until 1876, died a short time since at Elkhart. > 4-30-1885

OBITUARY: Eddy Myron R, 83 years, 4 months and 20 days, died at the residence of his son, Harrison, in the city of Elkhart. He was born in Lucerne County, Penn. Nov. 28, 1801. A few years after, he went with his parents to the state of New York and lived in different parts of that state. He was living in hearing of Buffalo when it was sacked and burned by the British. Moved to Wayne County, Ohio in 1815 where he was married to Sally Bell. Emigrated to Noble County in 1845 and lived with his family until 1876, when his wife died, with whom he had raised 7 sons and 4 daughters, of which 7 are now living; also 34 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. ^ 4-24-1885
