Warren County, Georgia - Abstract of Early Wills GRANBURY, Moses Jan 27, 1808 Wife: Betsy Daus: Polly, Patsy, Betsy, Nancy, Dulany Radcliff (decd) Sons: George, Seth Step-son: James Powell Exrs: George and Seth Granbury, Norvell Robertson Wit: George Dykes, John Smith, Benjamin Upton He owned land in Pitt Co., NC, but sold it and moved to Warren Co., GA. There he bought land and received a grant from the State of Georgia for more land in 1797 in Columbia Co. that bordered his land in Warren County. He also is recorded as having received several more land grants and owned considerable property in Warren and Columbia counties. Part of these grants were probably for payment of services during the Revolution. Bought 267 acres on Rocky Comfort Creek, Warren Co, GA in 1791 Bought 900 acres on Jan 16, 1799. Land granted to George Dykes. Bought 171 acres on Rock Comfort Creek Oct 20, 1801 Sold 200 acres at mouth of the mill branch of Rocky Comfort on May 19, 1804 to brother George. Bought 290 acres on Jan 20, 1801 on Rocky Comfort Creek Gave land to trustees of the Baptist church June 7, 1806 On the Warren Co Tax lists for 1794 and 1805 References
