Miles Cooper was born in Delaware Co. Ohio and came to Indiana with his parents in 1854. He was the twelfth child of James and Lucinda (Allen) Cooper, and was born February 11, 1851 and was but about three years of age when they came to Cain Township. While there he grew to manhood and met Lillie A. Nicholson who was born February 28, 1851. They were married February 11, 1875 and lived, as far as I know, all their lives in Hillsboro and were very active in the Nazerene Church there. Lillie passed away October 22, 1923 and Miles on April 1, 1947 and both were laid to rest in Rose Hill Cemetery at Hillsboro.
