Our Cooper Family Entry

David F. Cooper was born in Delaware Co. Ohio, May 28, 1841 and, after coming to Fountain Co. he met and on February 25, 1869 in that County married Mary Ruth Ellis. She was born May 6, 1842 in Manson Go. Ky., the daughter of Robert and Lucinda (Cottey) Ellis. David and Mary were the parents of four children and resided on what is the Paul Jansen Farm on "The Elmdale Rd." David passed away November 21, 1928 and Mary on November 21, 1923 and both were laid to rest in Rose Hill Cemetery at Hillsboro, In.
