Mildred Mae Lindberg was the oldest of six children born to Joseph and Clara Belle Watrin. She was born on the home farm near Elbow Lake on October 17, 1910. She moved with her parents to Fergus Falls at an early age where she was raised and received her education. On May 6, 1932 she married Leroy Drake and they re- sided together in Fergus Falls until his death in Febru- ary, 1978. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Joe; three daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Kathryn) Jeanplong of Torrance, CA, Mrs. Paige (Dorothy) Johnson, of Redondo Ceach, CA and Mrs. Harold (Florence) Powell of Dallas, TX; Son, Ver- non Drake of Prescott, WS; one sister, Bernice Bogren of Minneapolis; four brothers, Howard Watrin of Pasco, WA; and Alvin, Lyle and Milan Watrin all of CA. 11 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Mildred Mae Lindberg died at the Lake Region Hospital on Saturday afternoon, May 5, 1984 at the age of 73 years, 6 months and 18 days.
