"Moe" Stevens of Orland Dies
Orland---Funeral services for Maurice E. "Moe" Stevens will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the F. D. Sweet and Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in the family plot at the Willows Cemetery. Stevens died last night at the Glenn General Hospital. He was born at Visalia and moved to Willows in 1932 where he farmed for several years before returning to the San Joaquin Valley. He moved to Orland in 1949. He was a member of the Orland Fire Department. He is survived by his wife Viola, a daughter Patricia, a brother Richard and a sister Mrs. Elinor Hollis, all of Orland.
