The only things known about Adeline are that she was born in Greece, Monroe, NY, died before 1914 and had a very small family. The Murray connection has not been proven. Adeline's middle initial comes from the Murray research. What makes the Murray connection so interesting is that on the 1860 census, Adeline has a James Green, age 57 and born in New York, living with her. Two possible second marriages are: Adaline I. Murray m. 16 Aug 1876 in Oakland Co, Charles Chandler (from IGI) Adaline Murray m. 1 Jan 1872 in Iroquois Co, Illinois Alonzo Vesser (from IL Marriages, Ancestry.com) Another note in her favor: BENJAMIN HEWITT - b. 1797; buried at West Highland Cemetery Also, she went back to Pike for the 1870 census! from records of the late James J.
