She has a child two months old, and it is feared she has blood poison. Later: - Mrs. Jennings died Tuesday and was buried yesterday. She was a daughter of C. T. Kerr and about 30 years old. L. JENNINGS IS CLAIMED BY DEATH - Former Resident of Ainsworth Community was taken last night. Martin Luther Jennings, aged nearly sixty-six years, died at his home on East Main street last night at 11:20. He had been in poor health for several years and sustained a paryletic stroke a week ago last Saturday. Funeral services will be held at the late home at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon, and will be conducted by Dr. W. W. Bowers of the Methodist chruch. Tomorrow evening the funeral party will leave for Pennington Point, McDonough county, Ill, where burial will be made by the side of his wife. Mr. Jennings was born February 17, 1857 on a fram in McDonough County, Ill, and was a son of James M. and Katherine (Davis) Jennings. He was married on Thanksgiving day in 1881 to Belle Kerr, and they made their home in that county. Three children were born to them there, Mrs. Mary Gardner, of Ainsworth, a daughter, survives, and two sons, Walter and Earl Jennings are deceased. His wife died in Illinois in 1889. He moved to a farm near Ainsworth in 1902 and to Washington in 1921. Besides his daughter, he leaves two sisiters, Mrs. H. M. Elwell, and Mrs. J. M. Pace, both of Macomb, Ill, and one brother, James Jennings, of Rising City, Nebr. There are also four grand children. Mr. Jennings was a man of exceptionally sturdy character and was just and upright in all his business dealings. By his strength of character and integrity of purpose he made many friends and was held in high esteem. He made a success of farming and accumulated considerable property by his intelligent and consistent efforts and his habits of square dealing. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen." Also alloted up to $600 from Delbert Jennings and Martha Jennings shares to secure monument for their father, W. R. Jennings, now deceased.
