[edit] About Margaret MarrsNOTE: The following appears to be in error! The Margaret Marrs that married John Shannon on 23 Sept. 1779 in Fincastle County, Virginia would have been too old to have been a child of Hugh Marrs. She was more likely a sister of Hugh and child of John Marrs. The Alexander Marrs listed as "sister of Margaret Marrs that married John Shannon" (paragraph below) is also most likely Alexander, son of John Marrs. More research is necessary on this family. http://www2.1starnet.com/cgenzel/marrs/pafg03.htm#8384 10. Margaret Marrs (Hugh , John ).
