Will Transcript

To all whom it may concern: Greeting. Know ye, That I Magdalene Allison of Iredell County & State of North Carolina being of perfect mind & memory, & calling to mind the mortality of all men; do order constitute and dispose of my Estate in the following manner.
First I leave & bequeath to my Son Thomas Allison, the Table, all the Chairs & Dow Chest, all the Pots butt the new Pot & one Pot Rack, all my part of the working Tools belonging to the Plantation.
Again I give & leave to my Son Theophilus Allison, the Five Irons and Pot Rack that runs up & down.
Again, I leave to my Daughter Magdalene Knox my red silk Gown One Gold Ring and my silver Buckles.
Again I leave to my Grand Daughter Magdalene Knox my red silk Gown.
Again, I leave to Mary Kerr, Two gold Rings and a new Calico Gown & a black Calimanco Petticoat.
Again, I leave to Ann Neal one black silk Gown, & the Apron belonging to it & the blue Calimanco Petticoat, any Bed that she shall choose, and the Furniture belonging to it, and the other Bed and all the Bed Cloaths to be valued equally and divided between my two Daughters Magdalene Knox & Mary Kerr, and all my Pewter to be equally divided between my three Daughters, viz. Magdalene Knox, Mary Kerr & Ann Neal, to Mary Kerr the Tea Kettle, and all the Tea Furniture, one smoothing Iron, and one smoothing Iron to Magdalene Knox, and all my Cloaths to be equally divided between my Three Daughters Magdalene Knox, Mary Kerr and Ann Neal.
Again, I leave to my Son Thomas Allison, two set of fire Irons and all my Hogs, and again; to my son Richard Allison the new Pot, again I leave to my Son John Allison in money, Ten Pounds, & again to Thomas Allison my part of the Waggon & Hears; all the Horses, Cattle & Sheep to be sold & equally divided between all my Four Sons & Three Daughters to wit, Theophilus Allison, Thomas Allison, Richard Allison, John Allison, Magdalene Knox, Mary Kerr, & Ann Neal, and again to Magdalene I leave the big Bible and my Chest, and again I leave to my Daughter Ann Neal my Negroe Jude, but she is to pay Fifteen Pounds for the said Negroe to the other Legatees, before that she gets any part along with the rest of my Children viz. Theophilus Allison, Thomas Allison, Richard Allison, John Allison and Magdn. Knox, Mary Kerr, Ann Neal and what money there is to be equally divided among the above named Legatees.
I hereby appoint and constitute my Sons Theophilus & Thomas Allison Executors of this my last Will and Testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand & Seal thsi Eighth day of May 1794.
