Magdalena's father Ulrich Zug arrived in Pennsylvania from Europe in 1727 and Magdalena was born a few years later.

Many Zug and Frantz researchers have done extensive and almost endless research on these families, including Dwayne Wrightsman. I have attached his article "The Legend of Magdalena Zug" from Mennonite Family History, Volume XXII, Number 3, July 2003. The two Michael Frantzes were first cousins and approximately the same age.
Magdalena Zug married Michael Frantz, son of Elder Michael Frantz of Cocalico, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The other Michael Frantz was the son of Christian Frantz III and married Elizabeth Moyer proven by Botetourt County, Virginia Deed Book 6, Page 360, and other Virginia records.
