[Alamance County_Feb 2006_backup.FTW] Daily Times-News, The Monday, February 03, 1975 Luther Colon SHOFFNER, 62, of Route 1, Julian, died Sun- day at N.C. Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill. He was a retired employee of Associated Transport of Burlington and a native of Alamance County. He was a member of Coble Lutheran Church. He was the husband of Annie Margaret Foust SHOFFNER, who survives of the home. Final rites will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday at Coble Lutheran Church with Rev. Dan Summers, pastor, of- ficiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors including his wife are four sons, Harold, Thomas and Larry SHOFFNER, of Route 1, Julian and George SHOFFNER of Route 4, Greensboro; one daughter, Mrs.. Mary Brown of Route 1, Liberty; three brothers, B. L. SHOFFNER of Liberty, Vance SHOFFNER, Billy Joe SHOFFNER, both of Route 1, Burlington; three sisters, Mrs.. Mary Ruth Isley, Mrs.. Blanche Vance, both of Route 6, Burlington, Mrs.. Margaret Reitzel of Burlington; stepmother, Mrs.. Sammie obituaries SHOFFNER of Route 1, Bur- lington; ten grandchildren. Body will remain at the Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty until placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. |
