- Levi Moore first settled in Pennsylvania and moved to Pocahontas and Bath Counties, Frost community, before the Revolution, when children nearly grown. Page 284-289 describes the land transaction regarding his 575 acres on the headwaters of Knapps Creek; the papers are signed by James Madison, then Governor of Virginia, later President of the United States.
