LEONHARD was probably a native of LETTWEILER, in the Palatinate (all of his children were born there). Lettweiler is 4 miles north of Waldgrehweiler, from where many of the Urbana, Indiana early settlers had migrated. Leonard migrated to Tuscarawas County, Ohio before 1837.     FIAT is a tiny village in Bucks Township, Tuscarawas County, Ohio. It is about 6 miles west of Stone Creek in Jefferson Township, and about 4 miles south of Ragersville in Auburn Township.

    Someone has posted a picture of Leonhard's tombstone on the website. The details are difficult to read, and enlarging the image distorts them. Mostly the image is of the top of the stone, and shows only his name, and not dates of living.
