- Article of agreement made and entered into this 12th twelfth day of October in the year of Our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and Thirty One Between Leonard Danner of Cynthian Township in the County of Shelby and State of Ohio of the One part + Samuel Penrod of the Township + County aforesaid of the Other part Wituelssctte(?). that the said Leonard Danner for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred Dollars pursuant to the Covenant and agreement of the said Samuel Penrod hereafter mentioned.- Doth for himself and his heirs covenant and agree with the said Samuel Penrod as follows. Viz. that the said Leonard Danner or his heirs shall and will before the year Eighteen hundred and forty two make out a complete title in fee simple to and by such sufficient conveyance as the said Samuel Penrod on his council shall approve convey and assure in possession to the said Samuel Penrod and his heirs forever free from all manner of encumberance all that certain tract or parcel of Land situated lying and being in the Township of Cynthian in the County of Shelby and State of Ohio lying in section Twenty Nine Town Ten Range five East containing fifty five Acres and ninety four hundredths and the said Samuel Penrod in consideration of the covenant and agreement herein before contained Ore(?) the part of the said Leonard Danner doth hereby for himself his heirs and Executors and or administrators the sum of Three hundred Dollars as for and in full consideration for the absolute purchase of the said Tract or parcel of land and it is further agreed by and Between the said parties to these present that the said Samuel Penrod his heirs and assigns shall and May on or before the first day of April 1832 enter into and upon the said Messuages(?) + premises and four times receive and Take the Rents issues and profits thereof To his own and use and benefit and lastly for the due performance of the several Covenants and agreements aforesaid the parties aforesaid so hereby Respectively bind themselves their heirs Executors + Administrators and assigns in the penal sum of four hundred Dollars eumout(?) money and in Testimony whereof we have hereinto interchangeably set our hands and seals to day and year before written Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of us Attest
