    VILLAGE LOSES AN OCTOGENARIAN RESIDENT.
    Mrs. Laura Mott Died This Afternoon at Her North Broadway Home.
    Death From Old Age.
    Mrs. Laura Mott, for many years a resident of this village, died this afternoon about 4 o'clock at her residence, No. 603 North Broadway. Mrs. Mott was a native of this county, having been born near Saratoga Lake eighty-six years ago. After her marriage to the late John Mott, who was in the wholesale woolen business in New York, she removed to the metropolis.
    For the last twenty years, however, she had lived in this village. She had retained her faculties up to the last to a remarkable degree. Her illness was due principally to old age and she had been in excellent health up to within a few days. Her only immediate survivor is a granddaughter, Miss Grace Johnson.
