Katherine Stuart THOMPSON8767 was born about 1712 in Augusta Co., Virginia. She died after 1804. Tradition says that Katherine Stuart Thompson, wife of Andrew Alexander and her brother William Thompson , were descendants of a granddaughter of Charles I that fled to Ireland when Charles was beheaded, married a commoner named Thompson and had descendants who came to Beverley Manor.
