Miss Katherine Browning, daughter of Charles R Browning and Augusta Clark Browning was born May 1, 1889^[5], in West Orange, Essex, New Jersey. They lived in Llewellyn Park, New Jersey growing up. She met Lieutenant Raymond Potter Campbell and they were married on 29 June 1916, at Central Presbyterian Church in Orange, New Jersey^[1]. Lieutenant Campbell graduated from West Point Academy in June, 1916. They had a military wedding. After they were married they spent the summer in San Francisco, while Lieut. Campbell was on leave. Her returned to service in September, 1916. They are living in Llewellyn Park, in the home of her grandfather, Ross Browning.

R Potter Campbell Jr was born in 1919, and their daughter, Katharine Campbell was born in 1924, both in New Jersey. On the 1940 census, they are still living in West Orange, New Jersey. They have another son, Roy, age 14 listed in the household.

Raymond Potter Campbell, mother of Mrs. Martin T Ternan of Essex Fells, NJ., and Colonel R Potter Campbell, Jr. , Conierport, New York. Sister of Mrs. Howard Murchie of Pasadena, California and Mrs. Ralph Lee of Laquna Beach, California. Also survived by 7 Grandchildren. Service will be held at Arthur K Brown, Inc. (Home for services) 56 Park Street at Clairmont Ave., Montclair, NJ. , Saturday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. Friends may call Friday from 2-4 P. M. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Heart Fund.
