About Raymond Campbell

Raymond Potter Campbell was born in Hayward, California on 12 March 1892[3][5]. He served in the United States Army in both World War I[6] and World War II[10]. He graduated from West Point Military Academy on 12 June 1916[6], shortly before he married Miss Katherine Browning on 29 June 1916. He enlisted in the United States Army, World War II, July 6, 1942[5] and was discharged on January 19, 1946[5]. He was a Quartermaster officer and a recipient of the Legion of Merit[8]. Colonel Campbell died on 28 August 1953[7], and was buried with full military honors in Arlington National Cemetery[8].
