In the 1850 US census, the Joshua Seaver family resided in roxbury, Norfolk county, MA. The household included Joshua (age 47, postmaster, $4,000 in real property, born MA), Elizabeth (age 29, born MA), Joshua (age 17, assistant postmaster, born MA), David D. (age 15, born MA), George F. (age 12, born MA), Mary E. (age 8, born MA) and Charles M. (age 1, born MA). [LDS Microfilm 0,443,550, page 052, family #914]. Note that the wife's name is wrong in this listing.

In the 1860 U.S. census, the Joshua Seaver family resided in Roxbury 2nd Ward, Norfolk County, MA.
