  • Page 126.--10th February, 1763. Andrew () Brown and Jane ( ) to Joseph Ward, £55.10, 220 acres conveyed to George Stevenson by James Patton, 8th December, 1752, on Poage's Draft of James River, line of Burden's patent. Teste: W. Ward, Adam ( ) Reed, Jno. Parks.

  • Page 43.--5th June, 1766. Andrew Stevenson and Sarah and John Paul and Mary to Robert Carruthers, £57, 200 acres formerly belonging to Andrew Baxter and bequeathed by him to Andrew Stevenson, his grandson, after the death of Margaret, his wife, by will dated 15th September, 1748,

recorded in Augusta, but John Paul and Mary were the true proper heirs of said Andrew Baxter; corner Borden's tract. Teste: Walter Smiley, Joseph Ward.
