Pike Co. IL census show James R. and John's birthplace as MO but they were born before the family left Baltimore if the 1823 year is correct. John died of cholera in the 1851 epidemic. In 1850 Pike Co. IL census, brothers Charles and Joseph are living with James, also Edwin Uppinghouse and a George Samples. Joseph's Civil War record is in the files.
